How to reprogram the electric roller shutter of the Ford Ranger Wildtrack

The electric roller shutter of the Ranger Wildtrack is the cover that protects the pick-up bed. Reprogramming is necessary after a software update of the vehicle or after a power interruption (flat battery, replaced fuse, added accessories). When the roller switches to manual mode, functions like "anti-pinch" are no longer available. The procedure is as follows: turn on the ignition by opening the driver's door and keeping the engine off. Press and hold the roller control button until the roller completes a full closing and opening movement. Release the button when the roller is stationary. Press again until the roller closes completely and then opens and closes a second time. Release the button; the procedure is complete. Verify that the anti-pinch procedure is active by testing with a thin object along the closing edge.
