To replace the front headlight bulb on a Ford Focus, turn off the vehicle and open the bonnet to access the rear of the headlight unit. Locate the rubber or plastic protective cap and remove it to reach the bulb holder.

Disconnect the electrical connector and release the retaining clip, which may be a metal clip or a locking ring depending on the version. Carefully extract the faulty bulb and insert the new compatible one, avoiding touching the glass.

Secure the bulb back in its housing, reconnect the plug, and reposition the protective cover. Once the assembly is complete, turn on the lights to check proper operation and ensure the beam is even.
