How to Replace the Injectors of the Ford Focus

Today, you will see how to replace the injectors of the Ford Focus model mk3, produced from 2012 to 2018. To carry out this operation, first allow the engine to cool completely and then disconnect the negative terminal of the battery using a 10mm socket. Disconnect the electrical connectors of the injectors by pressing on the safety tabs and relieve the fuel pressure by slowly loosening the high-pressure pipe fitting with a 14mm socket while protecting the area with a cloth. Unscrew the fittings on both the rail and the injectors. Remove the injector retaining clip by unscrewing the fixing bolt using a T8 socket. Extract the injectors using a screwdriver if necessary and remove any carbon residue. Clean the seat and fit a copper washer around the new injector and insert it into its seat. Tighten the injector bracket with a torque wrench to the specified torque for your engine. Refit the high-pressure pipes and secure them, then reconnect the electrical connectors and the negative terminal of the battery. Start the vehicle's engine and ensure there are no fuel leaks.
