How to Replace the Key Fob Battery for a Ford F-150

To replace the battery in the key fob for a Ford F-150, take the fob and locate the mechanical key release button. Press the button and pull out the emergency key from the fob body. Find the slot on the side of the fob and insert a small flathead screwdriver to separate the two halves of the shell. Once open, locate the button battery housed inside, gently remove it, and insert a new one of the same type, ensuring correct polarity. Close the shell by pressing until it clicks and reinsert the mechanical key into its slot.
