How to Make a Wooden Bed for a Ford F1 Pickup

To create a beautiful wooden bed for a Ford F1 pickup, YouTubers cut oak boards to size, 6 in wide and 2 in thick, and prepared bumpers using old tires to prevent the boards from hitting the body bolts. Mark the points where the boards will be drilled to match the body holes. Drill the holes and place strips of anodized aluminum between the boards to hold them together and secure them to the body. Have an idea of how it should look when finished, but make sure to take accurate measurements. Drill the holes, and before installing the bolts, apply protective paint to the wood. Once dry, begin laying the wooden bed by first securing the two side aluminum bars, placing the wooden boards, and fastening them with bolts. Then, install the aluminum strips. Finish with a horizontal aluminum bar. This is definitely not a cheap job, but the result is stunning.
