We start the operations by lifting the vehicle and removing the wheel, if the rust wear is very accentuated it is better to prepare the drum for disassembly by removing the internal rust with hammer blows, it is a long but essential operation. After that, with a lot of lubricant and some brute force, we take out the drum and analyze the jaws. The return spring is held in place by a clip which we will remove later, first we will have to remove the two pins in the center of each shoe to free the latter. Once this is done, all that remains is to remove both the upper and lower springs so that the linings can be extracted.
