How to Replace the Brake Shoes on a Ford Transit

After removing the pins and taking off the wheel, start by unscrewing the hub bolts (where the shoes are located) to detach it from its support. Pull the cover towards you with your hands to remove it from the wheel hub. Prepare to disassemble the handbrake shoes on the wheel hub, cleaning all dirt and debris from the disassembled parts with brushes. Before reassembly, lubricate the parts as shown in the video, install the handbrake shoes and all associated pins. Now place the wheel onto the hub and tighten all the bolts, lower the vehicle to the ground, and always check the brake pedal pressure.
