Removing the External Mirror on a Ford C Max

Is the damaged mirror on your Ford C Max? Here’s how to remove it from above the car door. Use a plastic lever to pry off the internal trim of the mirror (there are plastic clips) and unscrew the securing pins with the appropriate socket spanner.

Once the securing pins are removed, take off the mirror. Disconnect the power connectors for the mirror adjustment from the car door.

Refit the mirror with the pins, the power connectors, and the plastic trim into the door panel. Test the mirror operation with the adjustment buttons.
