How to Change the Battery in a Ford Kuga

To replace the battery in a Ford Kuga, first, position the car on a ramp or a flat surface, securely immobilised. Now, open the bonnet and locate the battery. In this case, it is situated at the top right of the engine bay, just below the windscreen. To remove it, first take off the air filter cover by unscrewing the four screws that hold it in place, and also unscrew the bolt that secures the battery, located just behind it, near the windscreen. Disconnect the two battery terminals from the connection cables. Finally, you can extract the battery and proceed to install the new one. To carry out this operation, repeat the same steps shown in the images but in reverse order.
