Dismantling and Replacing the Left Mirror on a Focus 1998-2004

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

Required: Ratchet with a 13mm socket. Fully lower the left window, switch off the vehicle, remove the key from the ignition, and open the left door. Remove the triangular cover using your hands, disconnect the electric adjustment plug, and remove the bolt with the 13mm socket, taking care not to drop it inside the door, as retrieving it would be very complicated. The mirror is now free and can be removed. Insert the new mirror, screw in the 13mm bolt, reconnect the electric adjustment plug, and reposition the triangular cover.
