To retrieve the unlock code for the 6000 CD radio in a Ford Focus, first, turn on the radio. Press and hold buttons 1 and 6 for a few seconds. After about 20 seconds, a number will appear, and this will be the serial number of the radio. If your Ford Focus 6000 CD does not display the serial number using this method, you will need to remove the radio to read the adhesive label located on the side. Once read, reinsert the radio. After obtaining the serial number, visit the RadioCodeFord.com website and enter the serial number. The site will generate the unlock code.
