How to Change the Bulb on a Ford Focus

Lift the bonnet by pulling the lever near the footwell and then support it with the prop rod. Before changing the bulb, you need to remove the headlamp itself: unscrew the 3 Torx screws (T10) that secure the lamp (one at the wing and two at the chassis).

Raise the car with a jack and also unscrew the lower Torx screw located between the engine and the bumper.

Remove the plastic cover by prying it off with a flat screwdriver to detach it from its housing, and take out the two related screws. Extract the headlamp by disconnecting the wires.

Now, to change the expired bulb, simply remove the plastic cover at the bottom of the headlamp and unscrew the bulb itself.
