Want to replace the gear knob on your Ford Fiesta? Let's look at how to remove the knob from the gear stick. Grip the knob and rotate it to the left until it comes off the gear stick.

Use a plastic lever to disconnect the leather gaiter frame (if necessary). Fit the new leather gaiter with the clips (if removed), then take the new knob and slide it onto the stick in the centre console: tighten the new knob until fully threaded.

Finally, test the movement of the stick in the centre console to ensure the knob is correctly fitted. Replace the gear knob on the Ford Fiesta with one of the same type.
