Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Ford Fiesta. Begin by gripping the gear knob with both hands.

Next, unscrew it from the gear lever. This will free the gear knob itself.

At this point, pull the gear knob off. Once removed, you will have successfully completed the disassembly. To fit the new gear knob in your Ford Fiesta, simply reverse these instructions, and you will have correctly finished the replacement.
