Replacing the Lambda Sensor on a Ford Focus

Let’s look at replacing the lambda sensor on a Focus. Lift the bonnet and secure it. Remove the plastic engine cover panel and unscrew the bolts securing the heat shield. Once the heat shield is removed, proceed to detach the lambda sensor. Disconnect the lambda sensor connector and unscrew the sensor using a suitable socket. Once the sensor is removed from its housing, compare it with the new part. Install the new sensor using the appropriate socket and reconnect the power connector. Refit the heat shield and the soundproofing panel.
