Operation: How to replace the battery in the Ford Transit van?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery in the Ford Transit van. For this operation it is recommended to use a buffer battery to be connected to the diagnostic socket, so as not to reset the on-board computer. First, we move the passenger seat forward and remove the panel at the bottom. Then, with a 10mm wrench, we loosen the terminal nuts and disconnect them, starting with the negative pole. Finally, unscrew the two nuts and the fixing bolt of the bracket, extract the battery and mount the replacement following the reverse procedure, first reconnecting the positive pole.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time.
