If you are experiencing issues with the automatic transmission of your Ford Focus, the solution may be much simpler and cheaper than expected. If it is an electronic problem, a manual reset will restore it to optimal conditions. To perform this operation, follow the instructions in this mini guide. First, turn on the ignition and put the gear lever in neutral. Next, turn off the ignition and wait about 15 seconds. Then, position the gear lever to P (park). Turn off and turn on the ignition again and wait another 15 seconds. Return the gear lever to neutral and turn on the ignition. The reset is complete.
