How to Replace the Wing Mirror on a Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

To replace the right-hand side wing mirror on a Ford Focus, open the door and the passenger window. Use a plastic tool to remove the internal cover of the mirror. With a T25 Torx key, remove the screw at the bottom and, using a plastic tool, detach the other plastic piece by disconnecting the connectors. Remove the bolt with a 10 mm socket, then remove the screw with the T25 Torx key (holding the mirror steady). Carefully remove the mirror, being mindful of the clips, and take off the plastic behind the mirror. Take the new mirror, insert it into its housing, engage the clips, re-tighten the screw with the T25 Torx key (holding the mirror steady), and tighten the bolt with a 10 mm socket. Take the rear internal cover, connect the connectors, fit it into the bodywork, tighten the screw at the bottom with a T25 Torx key, and insert the other internal cover of the mirror. Finally, close the door and the front window, and the operation is complete.
