In case of engine failure to start and excessive smoke, one possible cause could be a malfunction of one or more injectors; if a nozzle or a shutter is damaged, the injector will tend to pass too much diesel and not provide the correct injection pressure, compromising the quality of combustion. The video highlights the excessive flow from the injector of the first and fourth cylinder. Consequently, the engine management ECU will also log errors related to the injector failure. If the vehicle has already covered many miles, it is advisable to replace all the injectors, not just the faulty ones; at the end of the installation, coding will be necessary by entering, via diagnostic tool, the 16-digit code found on each injector: make a note of it before installation.

How to Remove the Interior Light of a Mini

Remove the interior light of a Mini: use a screwdriver or plastic lever to pry between the cover and the light itself (avoid damaging the headlining), pull the cover out from the panel and disconnect the power connector after removing it.
