How to replace the timing belt of the Ford Focus 1.6

Model: Ford Focus MK 4 - Years 2018-2025
Part: Timing belt

In this video we will show you how to replace the timing belt of the Ford Focus 1.6. First lift the car onto the deck and then proceed to drain the coolant as seen in the video. Then remove the right front wheel as well as the various covers. Now lower the car from the deck and start disassembling the various parts that prevent access to the distribution compartment: wiper water tank, coolant tank, injector manifolds, cylinder head cover and cylinder head until you reach the part distribution. Now loosen the belt tensioner as shown on the video and remove the old belt. Once this is done, replace it with the new belt and repeat all the operations in reverse.
