How to Remove the Cylinder Head from a Ford Focus

Let's see how to remove the cylinder head from a Ford Focus. First, remove the plastic soundproofing panel on the engine cylinder head and take out the oil dipstick. Disconnect all the electrical connectors to the glow plugs using needle-nose pliers. Remove the air filter box and battery, along with the various wiring present on the cylinder head (disconnect the metal clips on the various hoses and the power connectors using pliers). Remove the metal timing cover and all its components; unscrew all the bolts of the cylinder head using a socket spanner or electric screwdriver, then lift it off along with the gasket. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
