Removal and Replacement of Thermostat

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011
Part: Thermostat

This video shows how to remove and replace the thermostat on your car. First, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery; then raise the car with a jack as you need to remove all the coolant. To drain the coolant, unscrew the drain cap located on the radiator; once all the fluid is removed, you can take out the expansion tank. Next, locate the thermostat by following the coolant pipes, and once you reach the thermostat, disconnect them. Finally, proceed to remove the old thermostat and install the new one.
