Replacing the Timing Belt on the Ford Kuga

If you want to replace the timing belt on this vehicle, be aware that it is a rather complex task that should be performed by experienced personnel. After removing the front right wheel, remove the inner wheel arch, then loosen the tensioner for the auxiliary belt and remove it. Next, remove the upper timing belt cover from above the engine bay and proceed to unscrew the bolts securing the right engine mount. Then, unscrew the fixing pin for the crankshaft pulley and position the pins to secure the relative position of the crankshaft and camshaft to maintain timing. Finally, loosen the tensioner and remove the timing belt.
