Removal of Central Tunnel Cover

Removing the central tunnel cover is very simple and does not require special tools; start by removing the small storage compartment at the rear, pull out the protective cap of the underlying screw and undo it; move to the front by extracting the two rubber discs covering the bottom of the two storage compartments and undo the screws underneath; at this point, detach the covering gaiter of the gear lever and that of the handbrake by pushing them into their respective seats and complete the removal of the tunnel cover.
