Dashboard Disassembly Instructions

Disassembling the dashboard is a time-consuming task that requires a lot of patience since there are many components to remove in a specific sequence. Start by disconnecting the battery, removing the driver's airbag, and then the steering wheel; take off the trim around the instrument cluster and then the fixing screws of the speedometer to remove it by disconnecting the connector; disassemble the glove compartment just below the steering wheel, the radio controls on the stalk, and then the protective covers of the stalk itself before removing it as well. Proceed to remove the passenger side airbag, the glove box, and the centre tunnel trim (both upper and lower parts) by disengaging the gaiter of the gear lever and that of the handbrake; extract the radio using the appropriate keys and disassemble the controls of the centre console by disconnecting the various connectors, remove the side trims near the door pillars, the air vent ducts, and then begin unscrewing the fixing screws of the dashboard itself (make sure to catch them all): at this point, extract the dashboard.
