Instructions for Replacing the Fuel Filter

Model: Ford Focus MK 3 - Years 2011-2018
Part: Diesel fuel filter

The fuel filter is located on the side of the engine, at the rear right when viewed from the front; start by disconnecting the fuel inlet and outlet pipes and unplugging the sensor connector; then unscrew the bolts of the filter support bracket and remove it from its housing; fit the new filter in place and tighten the bolts of the support bracket; finally, reconnect the sensor connector and the fuel inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring that the locking clips click into place; before starting the engine, turn the ignition on a few times to allow the filter to fill.
