Instructions for Removing the Front Passenger Seat

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

To remove the front passenger seat, first slide it all the way back, remove the plastic cover on the right rail that covers the mounting bolt, then unscrew both front mounting bolts; at this point, slide the seat all the way forward to access the rear bolts and unscrew them; finally, disconnect the pretensioner connector, which locks the seatbelt in the event of an impact. Finally, extract the seat from the cabin by rotating it ninety degrees during the extraction manoeuvre.
