First, ensure that the key is not in the ignition, then open the bonnet and, using a 10 mm spanner, disconnect the terminals by loosening the respective nuts, always starting with the negative.

Next, using the same spanner, unscrew the nuts of the upper bracket and remove the earth bolt, this time with an 8 mm spanner. At this point, you can remove the old battery and insert the replacement, ensuring to reconnect the positive terminal first.
