Passenger Side Airbag Replacement

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

Before proceeding with the airbag replacement, disconnect the battery. Start by removing the cover on the dashboard corresponding to the airbag location, lifting it by prying along the edges (be very careful to avoid leaving marks that could raise suspicions when selling the vehicle). Once the cover is removed, unscrew the fastening pins of the airbag support brackets, lift the airbag from its location, and disconnect the detonator connector. Then, reverse the process to install the new airbag.
