Let’s see how to replace a standard engine air filter with a high-performance cotton air filter. This item can be found on Amazon with the code AEM AE 20993 at a price of £73.70, with import and delivery charges to the UK at £26.94. The replacement procedure is the same as for a standard paper filter.

Remove the filter cover located just under the engine block, secured by four bolts. Take out the paper filter and clean the area where the new cotton filter will be placed, which can be cleaned once dirty; it does not need to be replaced.

Place it back in position and cover it with its lid. Tighten the four bolts, and the job is done.
