To replace the rear brake shoes on a Ford Fiesta, lift the car using a jack or ramp, so that the corresponding wheel is not in contact with the ground: this will allow you to loosen the bolts securing the wheel, remove it, and access the components at the rear. The drum can now be removed by unscrewing the securing screws, allowing access to the underlying brakes: these can be removed by disconnecting the shoes from the relevant mechanism and replacing them with new spare parts. After the replacement, all removed parts can be reassembled.
