How to deactivate the airbag on a Ford Fiesta?

This procedure is similar for all cars, whether produced by Ford or other manufacturers. It is quite quick and does not require special tools or technical knowledge.

To deactivate the passenger airbag (it is not possible to deactivate the driver airbag!), first locate the deactivation switch. This may be positioned inside the glove compartment or at the end of the dashboard on the right side of the car (passenger side).

After finding it, insert the appropriate key and turn the switch to "off". To reactivate it, simply turn the switch back to "on".
