Operation: How to install the short shifter in a Ford Fiesta (MK8)

In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to install the short shifter in a Ford Fiesta (MK8). The short shifter is a device used to reduce the travel of the gear lever. The first thing to do is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate rod. The material needed: an Allen key, a key to disassemble the airbox, a 7mm socket wrench, a screwdriver and a 10mm wrench. We begin by removing the airbox, then loosen the clamp to remove the intake tube connected to the airbox. Once the tube is removed, we can remove the airbox just by doing a little leverage. Now we need to install the short shifter on the bracket, with the hole matching the stock stem. Once the bracket has been fitted, it is sufficient to refit the gear lever, placing it on top of the new pawl, making a click to engage it.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
