How to Remove and Install the Rear View Mirror on a 2020 Ford Transit

The first step for installing a new internal rear view mirror on a 2020 Ford Transit is to remove the plastic cover. To do this, insert a spudger, a plastic tool similar to a spatula, into the seam between the two pieces and lever it off; as they are clipped together, removal should be quite straightforward. Once the plastic housing is removed, the next step is to rotate the arm of the internal mirror by 45 degrees, which will allow it to be removed. When performing these steps, be very careful not to damage the windscreen. At this point, take a new mirror or repair the old one and refit it by reversing the process. If you do not want to change the rear view mirror because upon removal you realised that the issue is not the mirror but the screws, simply tighten them and reattach the old mirror.
