How to Lower the Rear Seats on Ford C-Max

Many compact MPVs, like the one in question, have completely independent rear seats. For each seat, you can first fold down the backrest and then fold it completely along with the seat base, and finally, you can also remove them to increase the load capacity of the boot. Start by releasing the lever that adjusts the angle of the backrest, and while holding it down, fold the backrest completely forward. Just behind the seat base, there is another lever that allows you to release the hooks securing the seat to the vehicle floor and fold it completely forward, securing it to the headrest of the front seat. Finally, the second lever fully releases the seat, allowing you to remove it from the cabin.
