How to Replace the Battery in a Ford Escape

Below are the instructions for removing and replacing the battery in a Ford Escape, following these simple steps. First, open the hood of the vehicle and begin by removing the plastic cover located at the top of the engine compartment; then remove the battery cover as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative) by unscrewing the bracket screw to remove it from its place; replace it with a new one of the same amperage, and follow the reverse procedure for reassembly!
