The procedure for replacing the timing belt on the Ford Fiesta involves opening the hood to access the left side of the engine block: here, you will need to loosen the nuts that secure the central pins of the pulleys of the crankshaft and camshaft. In this way, the tension of the belt will be reduced and it will be possible to extract it from its housing: after the old belt has been removed, the new one can be inserted around the pulleys, which must then be put back in phase. After installation, the tensioner pulley can be reinserted.
