Ford Ranger - Video tutorial

Model: Ford Ranger T6 - Years 2011-2023
Part: Instrument cluster
Operation: How to remove the "AdBlue" alarm on Ford Ranger

The AdBlue warning usually activates when the AdBlue level in the tank is low or if there is a problem with the exhaust gas treatment system. Here are some steps you can follow. Check the AdBlue level in the tank and refill if necessary. The AdBlue tank is usually located next to the fuel tank and is easily identifiable by the blue cap. If you have already refilled the tank and the warning persists, it may be necessary to reset the light. Some vehicles may require a manual reset procedure. In some cases, shaking the AdBlue tank (where you filled the additive) a certain number of times with force can help reset the light. If the problem persists, there may be a fault in the AdBlue system that requires the attention of a qualified technician. A computerized diagnosis may be necessary to identify the problem. Remember that AdBlue is a crucial component for reducing polluting emissions from diesel vehicles and its proper functioning is important for the environment and compliance with emission regulations.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
