In this video, we will see how to change the air filter on a Ford S-Max. First, lift the bonnet and secure it. Unscrew the screws around the perimeter of the filter cover using a screwdriver with the appropriate bit. Once the black plastic cap is removed, you will see the air filter; take it out of its housing and set it aside.

Before installing the new one, clean any residue from the filter housing.

Insert the new part, ensuring it fits around the perimeter, and close it with the cap. Tighten the screws and close the housing.
