Replacing the external mirror is very straightforward on this series of the Ford Fiesta as it can be removed without taking off the door panel; once the door is open, unclip the triangular plastic cover located right next to the mirror and move it enough to disconnect the power connector for the adjustment system and remove it completely; now you can unscrew the screws that secure the mirror to the door pillar and complete the removal, then reverse the process for the installation of the new one.
