As you can see in this tutorial, replacing the battery in the remote for the Geely Emgrand is an extremely simple and quick task. To do this, you will only need a replacement CR2032 battery and a small flathead screwdriver or an equivalent tool.

Start by pressing the top button and removing the emergency key, then separate the two halves of the remote by prying along the seam. Once fully opened, you can remove the old battery and insert the replacement, making sure to respect the polarity.
