How to reset the maintenance light of the GMC Sierra

If every time you start your 2004 GMC Sierra you notice the vehicle maintenance warning light coming on, don't worry because a quick manual reset is enough to solve the problem. Let's find out how. Be sure to start the procedure described here with the car completely switched off and with all doors closed. Then insert the key and turn on the ignition. Simultaneously press the accelerator pedal three times in succession. At this point the reset is completed successfully and from the next start-up there will no longer be any maintenance light that will turn on.
