Changing the engine oil on a Harley Davidson Softail involves loosening the drain plug on the oil sump, located at the bottom centre of the bike. Once this plug is loosened, collect all the used oil in a suitably positioned container. At this point, add the necessary amount of engine oil through the filler cap on the right side of the bike. Once the required amount of oil is added, close the filler cap, ensuring everything is functioning properly.
