Honda x-ADV 750 engine oil, engine filters and clutch replacement

In this guide we will replace the engine oil, oil filters and clutch, the washer of the oil drain plug of the X-ADV 750 from 2017 to 2019 by Honda. Let's get four liters of Castrol sae oil 10w30, engine oil filter 15410MCJ505, clutch oil filter 15412MGSD21, o-ring 91302-pas 5, copper washer outer diameter 20mm, inner diameter 13mm, thickness 1mm. First, we position the motorcycle in an upright position using the central stand. We place a container for oil recovery to be disposed of under the engine. Let's lie down on a mechanic's trolley bed on the right side of the motorcycle. With the 17 wrench we are going to unscrew the oil drain plug, located at the bottom left of the crankcase, between the crankcase and the drain. Let all the oil drain, clean the oil drain plug, especially the tip that acts as a magnet for the residues that the engine expels. With a band wrench we are going to unscrew the oil filter placed vertical in front of the engine crankcase. With an 8mm socket wrench we remove the two pins that hold the clutch filter cover, located on the left rear side at the bottom, between the two parallel fairings. Be very careful when removing the lid as oil will leak out. Below you will find a gasket or o-ring to replace. Remove the spring that you will see placed on the filter head. Once the spring has been removed, you have to remove the filter. Help yourself with an opening pliers that are used to extract the seegers, gripping the central slot of the filter head. Replace it with a new one, reassembling everything as per disassembly. Replace the engine oil filter by soaking the gasket with oil, screw on by hand and tighten one turn with the band wrench. Replace the oil drain plug gasket with a copper gasket with an external diameter of 20mm, screwed until tight. Remove the filler cap / oil dipstick and clean it, add three liters of sae 10w30 oil. The manufacturer declares 3,4LT complete with filters. Once you have added the three liters, adjust as you go according to the level shown on the filler / dipstick.
