First, ensure that the engine is completely cold, then position a container underneath it, locate the drain bolt, and loosen it with a 12 mm spanner. Once all the oil has drained from the system, remove the filter using pliers, fit the new one, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure. At this point, simply add new oil through the dipstick hole.
