How to reset the oil light on the Honda Accord

Today we will explain how to reset the service light, related to the oil change service on a Honda Accord vehicle. To reset the light, we need to turn on the instrument panel and press the menu button on the steering wheel. By pressing the joystick, we select the maintenance option and while holding down the OK button, we update the kilometers to the next car service. After completing the reset of the light, we return to the main menu and complete the update by restarting the instrument panel. If the reset is not successful, it is necessary to go to the workshop to have the oil tank sensors checked, as in case of malfunction the ECU is not able to read the new oil quantity and therefore reset the light.
