Installation of Roof Bars

The vehicle is already pre-equipped for installing roof bars, so you need to obtain the appropriate roof bars for the model of car they will be installed on. First, remove the eight plastic caps that hide the threaded nuts. Position the two bars on the roof in line with the fixing holes, then screw in the eight fixing screws without tightening them. Now, carefully tighten the screws, checking a second time to ensure they are all perfectly tightened. It is good practice not to overload the roof bars and to keep the dimensions within legal limits.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
