Power steering oil and filter replacement

Model: Honda Accord MK 8 - Years 2008-2013
Part: Power steering oil

The material needed for the job consists of the new filter, the special oil, a few tools and a syringe. Remove the air box and its pipes. In order to avoid that part of the oil ends up on the engine parts, place a basin and some rags under the filter. Remove the lower tube, open the oil tank cap and allow the oil contained in the pan to flow out. When all the oil has been eliminated, close the tank and remove the filter by unscrewing the bolts at the base, then remove the two hose clamps to remove the two hoses connected to it. Position the basin so as to recover and not disperse the oil contained in the filter and carefully clean from oil residues. Remove the support bracket from the old filter and apply it on the new one which must be positioned, after reconnecting the pipes, in its seat. Reposition the air box and fill the tank with a little new oil. Start the engine and continue sucking the old oil from the tank until it runs out. Refill the tank with new oil.

How to deactivate the safe lock on a Volkswagen Golf.

The safe lock is indeed an anti-theft system that prevents thieves from accessing the car. This device locks the doors, both externally and internally, when the driver activates the central locking remote control after leaving the vehicle. To permanently disable it, it is necessary to use a diagnostic program such as VCDS that we will connect to the vehicle through the ODBII port. Then wait for the connection and recognition of the control unit and then select the blocks present and locate the safe lock to disable it. And the job will be completed.
