Power Steering Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Honda Accord MK 8 - Years 2008-2013

The materials needed for this job include a new filter, special oil, some tools, and a syringe. Remove the air box and its associated hoses. To prevent oil from spilling onto engine components, place a container and rags under the filter. Remove the lower hose, open the oil reservoir cap, and let the oil drain into the container. Once all the oil has been drained, close the reservoir and remove the filter by unscrewing the bolts at the base, then disconnect the two hoses attached to it. Position the container to catch any oil from the filter and clean it thoroughly of any residue. Remove the support bracket from the old filter and attach it to the new one, which should be positioned in its place after reconnecting the hoses. Refit the air box and fill the reservoir with a small amount of new oil. Start the engine and continue to draw out the old oil from the reservoir until it is empty. Top up the reservoir with new oil.
