How to disassemble the key of the Honda CR-V? Disassemble the working key and replace the battery inside, let's see how. Take your ignition key and press the key fob release button. Pull the key out from inside the key cover. Use a screwdriver to pry between the two plastics until they separate; extract the flat battery with a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage. After replacing, join the two parts of the key fob cover until you hear them click into place. Check the operation of the key fob.
