Replacing the Key Battery on a Honda CR-V

Today, tackle a simple maintenance task: replacing the battery in the Smart Key Remote used by Honda. Press the button on the back of the key to slide out the manual key from the rest of the structure. Lever the centre of the casing, using the manual key or a flat-head screwdriver, to open the Smart Key in two. Voila! Here is the desired battery! At this point, simply pull it out from its housing (you may need to use a screwdriver) and insert the new battery. Reassemble everything by reversing the process.
